Chattahoochee High School is a nationally recognized school of excellence serving over 1,900 students. Since its establishment in 1991, Chattahoochee High School has continuously climbed in national, state and local rankings. Notable honors include the following: ranked in Newsweek Magazine’s Top 500 High Schools in the USA in 2011, 2015 & 2016; named “One of the Area’s Best High Schools” by Atlanta Magazine in 2012; named Georgia School of Excellence in 2009 & 1997 and named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2000. A four-year academic high school, Chattahoochee offers a broad program of courses and experiences that address the interpersonal, social, physical and academic needs of its students. Students can participate in a variety of academic, enrichment and service organizations with nearly 70 clubs, literary publications and sports teams from which to choose. Chattahoochee High School is located in Johns Creek, Georgia, a suburban community of over 76,000. The City of Johns Creek lies along the banks of the historic Chattahoochee River in northeast Fulton County.
